The Centrale Supélec engineering school organises a hands-on session on land use classification in the form of a mini-project to be carried out by first year students as a conclusion of the course they have been recently delivered on Earth observation and its applications.

The project will use Sentinel-2 data from the Theia Land Data Centre and will rely on the IOTA² processing software dedicated to the production of land cover/land use maps at large scale.

The session will take place from 23 to 27 January 2023 at Centrale Supélec premises in Gif-sur-Yvette and will be supervised by experts from CS Group.
