EOCare is a service which aims at providing and monitoring technical and human resources dedicated to training activities, mainly in the field of Earth observation data and its applications, but also in image processing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geomatics or software development and implementation.
These resources include hardware and software components delivered in the form of customised working environments supported by cloud-based Virtual Machines, together with expert support to prepare, organise and follow the activities of both the trainers and the trainees before and during a course.
Such an approach is particularly relevant for sessions that need to be carried out remotely when the attendants cannot be brought together physically. It also ensures a smooth preparation and delivery of training.
